Art Exhibition Application

The Societal Peace and Freedom Forum is a meeting space that aims to bring together citizens, activists, artists, academics, students, journalists, and politicians to discuss the obstacles to, possibilities for, and areas of transformation regarding societal peace and freedom. The exhibition, to be held as part of the Forum taking place in Diyarbakır from May 12–16, 2026, with the participation of solidarity networks, aims to include artistic productions that make visible different life experiences, memories, and forms of expression related to societal peace and freedom.

The construction of societal peace and freedom encompasses a broad intellectual and emotional field, extending from daily life practices to cultural memory, from the relationship established with nature to issues of identity and belonging. This exhibition aims to bring together the productions that artists develop at these intersections; it is open to works that directly address a specific theme, as well as to original approaches from different orientations and disciplines.

The works to be selected for the exhibition will be determined by an advisory and evaluation committee that will be formed. The exhibition will meet visitors and participants within the scope of the Forum program. The exhibition venue will be announced later in line with the Forum program and shared with the selected artists.
