A member of the Mothers for Peace Assembly, which came together in 1999 by establishing its first assemblies in Istanbul, Izmir, and Diyarbakır. Born from the shared grief of mothers who lost their children in war, this organization was shaped by a deep need for peace. Since its inception, the assembly has expanded to different cities in Kurdistan and Turkey, reaching 24 separate assemblies today. The Mothers for Peace Assembly continues its struggle for the prevalence of peace and freedom.
