Organized by the Migration and Humanitarian Aid Foundation, the "Children's Rights Workshop with Children" is designed as a participatory meeting aimed at enabling children to see themselves as subjects of rights. In this workshop, children will have the opportunity to recognize their own rights, become aware of rights violations, and connect these rights to daily life. The event, which aims to introduce fundamental values such as participation, freedom of expression, equality, and justice, also intends to support the Foundation's vision of strengthening a rights-based approach, democratic participation, and a culture of peace.
At the end of the workshop, the goals for the children are: to recognize their basic children's rights and relate them to their daily life experiences; to develop the ability to distinguish between exercising a right and a rights violation; to begin expressing themselves as active rights-holders; and to reinforce the culture of democratic discussion and joint decision-making through practices of participation and taking the floor.
