This workshop, organized by Silva Özyerli, offers an inclusive experience that aims to amplify the richness offered by our ancient and fertile land by bringing together people who don't know each other around the same table. The workshop aims to remember our shared culinary culture, keep the tradition of communal work alive, and rediscover the transformative power of collaborative production. The gathering of individuals from different religious and ethnic backgrounds around a large table makes visible the unifying and healing power of the table through the processes of preparing, sharing, and interacting together. This encounter creates a space where social divisions can be discussed, differences can meet on the basis of equality, and the culture of living together is strengthened. Reminding participants that the table is not only a place to eat but also a social space where solidarity, equality, and the will to build a common future together are embodied, this workshop invites participants to both share and think together.
