Selin began her journalism career in 2001 at Doğan Media Group while a second-year student in the Journalism Department of Marmara University's Faculty of Communication. For 10 years, she worked in mainstream media, ranging from daily newspapers to monthly magazines, focusing on culture, arts, and urban culture. Since 2010, she has shifted her focus to digital and independent publishing, working on content creation, editing, and publication design, as well as communication strategies and project communication in the field of culture and arts. Through Neopublico, the publishing collective she founded, she has developed publishing and communication processes across various media. She is the project manager for Kompleks, an independent publication supported by the European Endowment for Democracy, and holds an International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) press card. She also works as the communication coordinator for the Ortaklaşa project, run by the Istanbul Culture and Arts Foundation (İKSV).
